Daisy Minor is bored. Worse than that, she's boring. A plain, small-town librarian, she's got a wardrobe as sexy as a dictionary and hasn't been on a date in years. She's never even had a lukewarm love affair, let alone a hot one. So when she wakes up on her 34th birthday and wonders how it is that she still lives with her widowed mom and spinster aunt while her friends have all gotten married and started families, she decides it's time to get a life - and a sex life.

Alisa says: "Finally on Audible after all these years."

Would you consider the audio edition of Open Season to be better than the print version?

Yes, narrator portrayed characters far better than print did.

What did you like best about this story?

    Everything

    Any additional comments?

I have listened to this over and over. When I can't find anything new that appeals to me I listen to this or "Mr. Perfect" or " Now You See Me." Linda Howard ha become 3rd in my top ten authors. This booked helped her secure the placement.

Carlin Reed lives in fear, off the grid, moving from place to place. So Battle Ridge, Wyoming, a small town in the middle of nowhere, seems like a good place to lie low for a while. But after becoming cook and housekeeper to cattle rancher Zeke Decker, Carlin suspects that she’s made her first mistake. Rugged, sexy, and too distracting for his own good, Zeke is pure temptation mixed with something deep and primal that makes Carlin feel almost safe. Soon things are getting way too hot in the kitchen.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    Someone in a coma.

What could Linda Howard and Linda Jones have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Linda Howard should just write by herself. Characters were shallow and was boring.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Complete waste of a credit.

Chloe Marin was lucky. She was just a teenager when a party at a Florida beachside mansion turned into a savage killing spree and she was one of the few to survive. Bloody handwriting on the walls pointed to a cult whose rituals included human sacrifice. Chloe’s sketch of one of the killers linked two dead cult members found in the Everglades to the massacre, closing the case as far as the cops are concerned.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It was so non descript. I can't even remember how it ended. However, I am not going to even try to re-listen to it. Narration was good but the book was bad.

Was The Killing Edge worth the listening time?

No. Julia Whelan did a good job but I will not 're-listen to it.

Where does Heartbreaker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I was terrified the narration would ruin this one, as I said I was pleasantly surprised. This ranks one my favorites of Garwood books. Eby did a good job with it, but Nick sounded...off. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It was minor problem which I quickly got over because I was sucked into the book.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Even though I have read this book a million times, Eby did a good job and, of course Garwood writes a hell of a story.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This series is one of my favorites. I have recommend this series to all my reader friends.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Key of Valor?

The whole book. It makes the whole series come together perfectly. But the series has to be read in order. You can't start with the 2nd or 3rd book.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

Zoe, Susan Ericksen is so talented, she has the greatest range, and she makes it all come alive.

    Any additional comments?

This series is a MUST READ!
