Partly the narration. Emily Bauer did a great job of putting just the right amount of emotion into the story.
no, I haven't
It would give too much away, so I can't say. I don't like spoiler alerts.
Listen to this book. It was very refreshing.
above average. the story is good and I love the way the author mixes humor in with the zombie theme
couldn't, 5 starts
Probably not, but then I don't usually.
Peter, but I may have selected another character earlier on in the book.
Yes, because I'm never disappointed by a Joe Pickett story. I like Joe and I like his family. I like them as people and I like their values.
If you haven't listened to a book in the Joe Pickett series, do yourself a favor and indulge in one.
It's a great new Lucas Davenport story. The kind of story you can wrap yourself in a blanket, curl up on the couch and listen to to the very end.
Lucas, of course!
You know you won't be disappointed when the story line follows Virgil Flowers or Lucas Davenport.
I had trouble getting through the first 2 sections and almost stopped listening to it. The third section really picks up, though.
yes, with a lot of editing
Won't say, don't like spoiler alerts.
After a suggestion from a friend, I got the first two books for my grandchildren. Then I decided to listen so I could discuss it with them and I really enjoyed the story.
I'm not quite finished with it, but everything, it was very well written
Since Mystic River, I look for Lehane books.
Definitely a cut above...
I didn't read it in print.
Robicheaux of course
You can never go wrong with Burke and Patton
No. The story may be good, but I couldn't tell. The narrator reads as though every sentence ends with an exclamation mark. It was so annoying that I had to stop listening. I could not appreciate the story.
