"Flash Back Horror"
In this book, I got tired of hearing about everything that happened in the past. If you didnt read the first 8, Oh Well. Your Loss. But I hate to admit, you would think that Richard, after 8 books, would be kick ass, instead of a pussy. The only thing he does well is TALK, and he does too much of that. I loved the first 8 books, but this one is not so good. 2 more to go so I can endure the much unneeded dialogue to hear what happens. (I wish Kahlan would DIE)
"To each his or her own I guess."
I just think its a matter of interest. Something that might tug at you as being irritating might sing to someone else. I enjoyed this book a lot. With some books, such as this one, you have to look past a certain plot or scheme of events that take place and just enjoy the nature.
"better"
I was some what dissappointed with Chainfire, part 1, but this book was a lot better. My only wish is that the narrator would stay the same. I really dont care who, although Jim Bond would be preference, but when you are use to one person, a change in the characters voices can throw you off.
"SLOOOWWWW"
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the books in this series up until the sixth one. This one. As another person well put, it is very slow, and the detail is very overwhelming. I hope it gets better in the seventh one. I cant just quit now. This book, however, should have been done in maybe 5 chapters at most.
