    My older son brought this home from school a couple weeks ago. All 3 kids were very excited to listen to The Little Engine and kept interrupting me to tell me about the pictures in the book when the animals met the different engines who would not help them.

    Syd Lieberman is an entertainer and storyteller. In this live recording, Syd involves the audience before he even starts telling the story. Having seen Syd perform I looked forward to listening to this book and was not disappointed.

    Two friends recommended 'Devil in the White City' to me and so I listened. Just over 100 years ago, before Ferris Wheels, Walt Disney Land, and reality TV, Chicago built a Worlds Fair and America was enthralled by one of its first pyscopaths. While these two stories are captivating on their own, woven together they feed off of each other and show two men at opposite ends of the spectrum - both trying to push the bounds of power.
