    I am an adult - but keep hearing how good this book is. It probably is. The narrator is just awful. Why can't these be directed better? How can anyone possibly stay interested in a voice & reading like that?

    I am so frustrated buying books that get such high marks. I get that everyone may not like the same books, but there was nothing anyone could have liked so much. The author must have been told to write in every banal detail of even scene - ugggg
