I love Scott Brick's performance. He is second only to George Guidall, in my opinion. I have read many Brad Meltzer books and will read more.

It did not flow. There was too much jumping around and it was confusing. I hated the ending and felt cheated. He used this book simply as a set up for another book. It was not the cliff hanger I think it was meant to be.

He does different voices well. He performs women as well as men, so that you forget it is a man reading all the parts.I get into the characters better having him read to me.

Performer is pleasant to listen to. I can read in the car while I'm driving and walking into work, doing my chores and exercising. Her books are easy reads. That is not bad. When I feel like a complicated book with multiple characters, I'll go to a different author.

Don't know, but it is a confusing title. Someone could have done a better job. That doesn't make the book less enjoyable, though.

I didn't know it was a true story. That was pleasing. It was well written and flowed nicely. It was interesting. I have not seen the movie so can't compare, but I don't think the movie had the sadness of his wife's sickness. Not sure, though. I listen to several books per week driving and doing chores. I enjoy a good reader. I feel they make the story. I did not like the reader of this book. I found the voice flat and unimaginative. He did not do female voices well. I never forgot that a male was reading the book. I actually thought it was read by the author (seldom a good idea-most should stick to writing and leave to reading to the pros), until I looked to see. I would probably listen again.

The wife. I liked her positive attitude and tenacity. And the mother. She was interesting. I would have liked to hear more about her. She was very generous and trusting with her life's savings.

I would have found someone else. I did not like his performance at all.

If someone else was the reader, I would listen to a follow up. Otherwise-no. I would like to hear more about the family.

Get a new reader.

Short, sweet and to the point: I read alot. I can't finish this. It is disjointed, unpleasant and never ending. It is a waste of my time and upsetting to even write about this singularly boring and undeserving book. I "get" Brit Lit humor. This isn't it. Spend your credit on something that makes sense.. This doesn't.

Unless you have an interest or knowledge of the history of India, don't bother wasting a credit or your time. This was not entertaining. It was very raw and unpleasant (this, from someone for whom the F-Bomb is a part of life!). I listen to several books per week. It took me two weeks to struggle through this. I saw little point in the book and have no idea what appealed to me when I chose it. Don't make the same mistake. No stars is the harshest I have ever been.
