If you enjoyed The Giver, you will love this story. The second book of the "quartet" but it could stand alone. Great job by the narrator as well.

Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

Good, fast moving tale of a different kind of vampire. Mulgrew's narration brings to story alive. I would definitely recommend this title.

The ever after, the demonic realm that parallels our own, is shrinking, and if it disappears, so does all magic. It’s up to witch-turned-daywalking-demon Rachel Morgan to fix the ever-after before the fragile balance between magic users and humans fails. Of course, there’s also the small fact that she caused the ley line to rip in the first place, and her life is forfeit unless she can fix it.

I resisted reading this series as it was ANOTHER YA series that all the moms were reading. However, once I succumbed, I was hooked. Great story with good lessons. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha's consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late. Earning Neha's trust comes at a price - Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

What made the experience of listening to Archangel's Storm the most enjoyable?

I enjoy Ms Singh's story telling.

How could the performance have been better?

The voices this narrator uses for characters are AWFUL. I can't understand her half the time and have to back up.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No...I am having a hard time finishing it because of the narration.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Walking Dead: The Road to Woodbury to be better than the print version?

I really enjoyed the audio version of this book because the narrator really added something to the story through his telling of it.

What did you like best about this story?

Great action and it is a good companion to the series.

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to any other of his performances but will look for them in the future.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.
