"Figuratively a page turner."
Can't stop listening
Hooked on Mich Rapp
Nothing to wirte home about
Shouldn't attempt femaie voices which is a problem with most male voice actors. Also word pronouncation needs improvement, again a problem with most readers attempting to be actors who don't research their subject matter thereby screwing pronouncing words that aren't necessarily in common usage.
In spite of the above criticism can't beat Mich Rapp for excitment. Vince Flynn does his research.
"Interesting premise in these current times"
It isn't Mitch Rapp :-) !
When the plaintiffs attorney gets his head handed to him (figuratively of course).
The surprised and surprise witness
Pretty much.
Who knew a story about the presidential chopper could be so ingrossing.
"Narrator Guidall best for Mitch Rapp"
In the top 5
Best narrator for Mitch Rapp and Flynn's character I've heard. Perfect voice to match a macho protaginest.
Made my laugh at some of the sorry situations between the hero and politicians.
Yes but they be politically incorrect like Rapp
"Phenomenal fictionalized documentary of WWII"
Time well spent because it sets forth the true record of WWII
Incomparible.
His lame attempts at voice the characters and madding mispronounciation of words.
To read the Winds of War only after I give my ears a rest from Pariseau's over acting.
Needs better direction and forget the attempts at singing refrains from the past, that doesn't lend anything to the book, but is a distraction. Something to fast forward through.
"Incredible story of incredible person"
Highly recommend - the public media persona of Jobs only shows one dimension
How well researched it is.
One of the better readers
"The Violent Politics of HIV & Est'd Medical Rsrch"
The gratuitous violence thought necessary to make the point
Like most other thrillers with HIVas the main story line
Scott Brick has a good voice albeit he is excessively melodramatic and after awhile all his characters sound the same. Just read the story without all of the excessive conspiratorialy voicing.
No, unless avoiding other Harlan Coben's stories if they exhibit the same level of unecessary discriptions of violence.
"Life Changing"
If you only listen(read) one book in your life time it should be this book.
"Tough Read"
If you like lots of explict details of how to kill someone, this is you book. It's very gory.
"Unusual"
Very sci-fi and not what I expected, although it was just compelling enough that I had to see the outcome. Probably won't read this author again, not my style. Found it difficult to stay with at times.
"The Forgotten 500 (Unabridged"
Very interesting providing a very important historical perspective and understanding on the Balkans from WWII to current and how the U.S. and Britan sold out the freedom loving people of that area.
Didn't care much for the reader - his voice always sounded strained and screechy.
