my first audio book was on a LP called Greyfriars Bobby. I was about 6 or 7 and listened to it over and over. That was about 1960.

    This book was un-funny. There is canned laughter which is louder than the performer. It is annoying to the nth degree. I'll never be able to get back that hour I lost listening to such drivel.

    I enjoyed the book right up until the end. The last hour or so of my audio book was a complete repeat of the first hour, only in a more adult voice. Did anyone else notice this? If the book ended with the humble narrator growing up...then bravo for the entire book. Narrator was excellent.
