I am now listening to Wicked Beat, which just came out and am disappointed it is not in reading order. Audible finally has the series in order but that does me no good now that I have already listened to them out of order. Just had to Vent.
Double Time is my favorite in the series, they are all great books, Would have been better if Audible had them in reading order to begin with. The Narrator is one of the best I have heard, and I have Listened to 1000's of Audio books, which says a lot. I really suck at writing reviews so I Do Not often write them but I had to say something about the reading order Audible Messed up and made me listen out of order which is very confusing.
I never read the print version but the Narrator does a great job for this series.
Gabe, for not giving up
every character was performed perfectly
I was surprised how much I am enjoying this series because love stories without Vampires, Etc... arent my usual read. This book kind of frustrated me but it is worth listening too for sure.
Just plain loved this story.
I am unable to give an accurate rating on the story because I could not listen to the whole thing because the narrator. I love the series and I am very unhappy several of the upcoming books are narrated by this narrator so that kills the series for me. I dont understand why books in a series do not use the same narrator like they should. But not this narrator for sure.
Let me start by saying Xe Sands does a great job at Narrating this series. The beginning of this book gets right to the point of excitement, The way the story unfolds is perfect, I really enjoyed listening to this book, actually it is the second time listening now. I would suggest listening to the previous books of this series so you can understand what is going on.
This book was very good at times, but for some reason the narration was not the best at times, but a lot of it was good, and then some of the story was just Blah. Being that it is the beginning of a series, I willl give the next book a try, the story was ok, It is worth listeniing to, you just have to get past the not so good parts, luckily there are more good than bad. I know my review is a little confusing but you will understand after listening to this book.
I loved listening to this story, it came together so perfectly. So far my favorite of the series. The narrator does a great job bringing the characters to life. I couldn't stop listening. I really enjoy that this series has the same narrator for all of the books and that characters from previous books are brought back into each book.
Ok story but the narrator didn't pronounce Acheron the same as the other books in the series which made me very annoyed.
Aways happy with the endings of all the series books
I didn't like the narration
Yes continue reading the series
Why did they allow such a big error from the narrator.
I would have to say #3, I have listened to a lot of audiobooks so #3 means it was very very good.
I dont want to spoil the book for anyone else, so I will say the whole book was memorable
Tohrment for sure
Absolutely, I practically did, except while at work then I had to stop listening but I was thinking about listening to it while I was at work
This whole series was awesome, I hope there will be more to come, I love all the characters, So So So Much.
I so love the series when Fred Berman is narrator, although Holter Graham did ok in this book, the previous books in the series that Holter Graham read were not good, I couldnt even Listen to them but this book he did well. I have really enjoyed this series I was a little lost because I was unable to listen to the books not Narrated by Fred Berman so I missed some chunks of important Information but I was still able to enjoy this book very much. Acheron is my favorite of the whole series so this is my favorite one of all. Worth listening to if you liked the previous books in the series.
This book had my attention from beginning to end. I loved all the characters and the Narrator did a great job. To me this is a all nighter kind of a book, just cannot put it down.
