Don't listen to this one until you've heard his first novel, "Power Down". The main character continues his journey in this book. I heard that these are Ben Coes first novels, if so, I think he's doing something right. Enjoyed both stores very much.
This was one of the most enjoyable books I've listened to recently. Good character development, lots of humor and some unexpected twists. I really like the narrator. I'd love to hear her do more books.
I enjoy the Andy Carpenter series because I like the humor and the reliable story lines.
Grover Gardner has a voice that makes me want to be his best friend.
I liked the story and would recommend it...... but, and this may have been only on my recording, the last few minutes didn't download and the story ended playing before it was finished.
I hadn't heard Simon Vance narrate before. It took me a while to get used to his voice and accent, but found him enjoyable to listen to.
Yes, there are a few lose ends that could be followed.
A story that young adults will love...... adults, not so much.
Probably won't as they are written for young adults.
The experiences in this story seem so real that it seemed like they were taken from real life. I think the narrator did an amazing job.
I don't know if Noah Galvin is a teenager or not. He tells this story like he lived it.
All I can say is, WOW, no wonder they were called the greatest generation. What a story of endurance.
Very exciting! And boy what a story plus there's plenty of humor. I've decided DeMille is destined to be one of the best writers of our time.
A funny mystery, a great summer read. Highly recommend it to everyone who likes a good mystery story with some humor to lighten the darkness.
I throughly disliked this book. While it tried to come off as funny, in reality it showed us what pathetic parenting is out there.
