There used to be two teams in every workplace: management and labor. Now there’s a third team, the linchpins. These people invent, lead (regardless of title), connect others, make things happen, and create order out of chaos. They figure out what to do when there’s no rule book. They delight and challenge their customers and peers. They love their work, pour their best selves into it, and turn each day into a kind of art.

Lots of good information, though some of it, like the concept of resistance, are "borrowed" from other authors. Most notably Steven Pressfield. The first part of the book is a little tough to get through, but he brings it all together in the second half. Well worth the listen.

Seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway, Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who, for the last 15 years, has been posing as an out-of-work actor.

John says: "HHTGH - Lightly Fried"
"Perfect book for a road trip"
    Overall

This is the kind of book that allows your imagination to fully participate in the magic of the book while the jokes/commentary/satire keep you laughing and awake for long stretches of road. Kept us occupied on an all-night drive from Mexico to Colorado.
