A Prescription for Retail Pharmacy offers an honest, politically incorrect, no-holds-barred look at the inner workings of the world of retail pharmacy. Pharmacist Jean-Marc Bovee answers all of your pharmacy-related questions and discusses real-life situations, problems, and solutions. If you are a patient, gain a better understanding of how a pharmacy functions; if you are a health care provider, learn how to better communicate with retail pharmacists.

Korean Phase 1, Units 1-5 build on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation.

My girlfriend who is a native speaker told me that the pronunciation of several words is way off, and some others are just incorrect. There is no written transcript for Pimsleur Korean Phase 1 as there is for every other Pimsleur product, so the only way to know you've learned to speak partially nonsense Korean is the confounded looks on the faces of those you try to talk to. Probably best to spend your credit elsewhere.

This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

This is easily my favorite series on audible.com. Of all the books I've listened to, this is the only series that keeps bringing me back again. The author and reader pull you in instantly and make you care about the characters involved. Aside from the incredible world-building, riveting, horrifying, hilarious story, and often beautiful writing style, the man who reads the book is a bloody genius. Every character has their own inflection, accent, etc. and is done so flawlessly that you already know who's talking when the first syllable is uttered. My only complaint is that the last of the trilogy isn't out yet. If you enjoy fantasy novels, this one's for you.

Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities...there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars.... Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand...to tread the jeweled thrones of the earth under his sandalled feet.

The stories and characters are a lot of fun, and the reader did and excellent job throughout. The only drawback is that the stories are given in the order in which they were written, not chronologically with respect to Conan's life. In one story Conan is a young barbarian roaming the countryside, in the next story he could be an old man, and then a middle-aged general years before the last story took place. As a collection of short stand-alone stories they're great, but I feel they would've been even better arranged as a sort of biography, charting the man's travels through the world and personal development from start to finish.

With unforgettable characters, a sweeping backdrop, and passionate storytelling, this is a fantasy debut to rival that of Robert Jordan. Filled with adventure and bloodshed, pageantry and piracy, mystery and menace, Assassin's Apprentice is the story of a royal house and the young man who is destined to chart its course through tempests of change.

    Story

This is a story of a boy raised to be a tool, who learns to be a man, then CHOOSES to be a tool for three consecutive books.

The story is compelling, and the reading is done perfectly. You will whiz through this book, then the next, and the final one of the trilogy as you come to love the characters, become emotionally invested in them, and ultimately experience incredible frustration and disappointment with almost every one of them.

All the hopes you develop for the main character, his prospects of reaching some sort of peace with himself and those around him - let alone happiness - fail miserably. If 80 hours or so of listening only to arrive at a sad/bittersweet/frustrating conclusion is what you're after...this is the series for you.

For me, I truly, deeply wish I had not spent the time or money on this. Life can be depressing enough without it flooding into fantasy, however well written or read.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

What happened to everyone's voices? Daenerys used to have a softer lilting way of speaking, Melisandre had a deep slow mystical tone, and so many of the other characters which Mr. Dotrice had developed individual sounds for are gone. Now half of the population seem to have become raspy old Scottish women.
