"Cheering for evil and I don't feel bad about it."
Even though the book is focused on the bad guys of the star wars universe, I felt myself cheering for bane throughout. His character is extremely believable, and it was easy for me to even relate to him. I love how bane, while physically imposing, overcomes most of his obstacles with cunning and treachery. There is a decent amount of action, but most of the book really is about bane coming to to know himself and understand the dark side. It was an intriguing and engaging listen.
"The characters are so real!"
One of my favorite things about Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series is how real the characters feel. As the reader you feel like you can truly relate to them and their personalities and problems. Many fantasy books contain a cool story and a lot of action, but in this series, while the story and action are amazing, it is the people that you fall in love with.
"Action packed finish, but some details left hangin"
Action, Endurance, Entertaining
I loved how finally the Jedi are victorious against Abeloth and the Sith. Luke had defeated her many times during the series, but she kept coming back. It is good to have her finished off.
He is wonderful as always.
No.
I really enjoyed the ending to the series, but there were some details that were just left kind of hanging. I feel they should have fleshed out more of why Abeloth is the way she is. You learn her backstory, but her backstory is really short. Also a new sith is introduced at the end, and you don't even learn his name even though he fights alongside Luke at one point. I just feel that the book just ended abruptly and did not flesh out some details I still had questions about. But it was a great listen and i loved the book still.
"Griping tale and intriguing narration"
Vivid magical experience
The depth of the story and the characters are the best thing about this story.
Excellent
I loved the end of the book when the story comes to a climax.
