"Love this entire series."
The narrator is very good at giving each person their own voice and personality. The writing and narration put together makes this book an absolute hit. I just hope that when the movie comes out the actors can give the characters as much depth as the author and narrator did.
I love the orginality. It is a story that hasn't been done. So many books are following the same line that their predecessors have and this book takes a whole new spin on the ideas of witches and other things that go bump in the night. It was a refreshing read with refreshing ideas.
I have not.
"Get on with it already."
Probably near the middle which doesn't mean much cause I don't read many books I don't like.
Yes. I don't hate her books, but I am not to where I just couldn't live without her either.
Any scene where she is not discussing how inadvertently smitten the two are without wanting to admit it.
Not really. This book is more of a guilty pleasure. There is nothing particularly inspirational about it.
The story line is not a bad one. The only reason that this book doesn't get better reviews is because the author felt the need to drone incessantly about the attraction between the two and how neither, especially the vampire, are willing to admit it. If is hand't been for that then the story line would have been a good one. I just feel that there is so much more that Showalter could have done with the story, given that she didn't dwell on the two longing for each other and denying one another.
