Two masters of epic fantasy have combined in this brilliant collaboration to create a rousing tale. This is the story of Shana, a half-breed born of the forbidden union of an Elvenlord father with a human mother. Her exiled mother dead, Shana was rescued and raised by dragons, a proud, ancient race who existed unbeknownst to elven or human kind. From birth, Shana was the embodiment of the Prophecy that the all-powerful Elvenlords feared. Her destiny is the enthralling adventure of a lifetime.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The idea is good but the story was drawn out and tedious. Maybe It is just not my thing!

He lives in solitude beneath the city, an exile from society, which will destroy him if he is ever seen. She dwells in seclusion, a fugitive from enemies who will do her harm if she is ever found. But the bond between them runs deeper than the tragedies that have scarred their lives. Something more than chance - and nothing less than destiny - has brought them together in a world whose hour of reckoning is fast approaching.

Would you listen to Innocence again? Why?

Yes I plan to listen again to catch some of the bits I missed while cleaning house and listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Innocence?

Can't say without ruining the story for those who have not read it! Just read it!!!

Have you listened to any of MacLeod Andrews’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I will again. He has a wonderful voice and made the story come alive.

Who was the most memorable character of Innocence and why?

Well of course I love Addison. Despite how cruel the world was, he was kind, strong, thoughtful, and generous.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have recommended this book to friends and they are fans too!

What did you like best about this story?

The characters are interesting and well rounded. The interaction between Wanda and Mel is clever and I love how the two come to understand and even care for each other.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Not a fan of the narrator's voice, a bit high and winy.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can't wait to see the movie.
