When their village is attacked by trollocs, monsters thought to be only legends, three young men, Rand, Matt, and Perrin, flee in the company of the Lady Moiraine, a sinister visitor of unsuspected powers. Thus begins an epic adventure set in a world of wonders and horror, where what was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

Based off all the positive reviews for this book and the series in general I expected that I would be getting ready to drop 13 or 14 credits to finish the series. After spending 29 hours trudging my way through this slow and tedious book I've decided to get off of this train before I waste another credit and hour.

Brandon Sanderson please finish A Memory of Light and get back to the Stormlight Archive (The Way of The Kings) series.

In his acclaimed Codex Alera novels, best-selling author Jim Butcher has created a fascinating world in which the powerful forces of nature take physical form. For millennia, the people of Alera have used their unique bond with these elementals for protection. Now, as enemies become allies, and friends become bitter foes, a danger beyond reckoning looms. . . .

The whole series is fantastic, this book however is the best of the bunch. Without revealing the plot Tavi becomes the man we've been waiting for in this book. I have finished the entire series and I still go back and listen to some of my favorite scenes in Captain's Fury. This is something I rarely do, download this series you won't be disappointed.
