    When Barry Fairweather dies unexpectedly in his early 40s, the little town of Pagford is left in shock.     Would you consider the audio edition of The Casual Vacancy to be better than the print version?

    Reading and listening are personal preferences so I would never say one is better than another. However, when you have Ton Hollander narrating, it's not to be missed.


    What other book might you compare The Casual Vacancy to and why?

    Freedom maybe? It's a soap opera but with a bigger meaning


    What about Tom Hollander’s performance did you like?

    His versatility with accents and attitudes.
