    Mercy Thompson's life is not exactly normal. Her next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she's fixing a VW bus for a vampire. But then, Mercy isn't exactly normal herself.

    This story has it all - action, emotion, great characters, a story line with integrity. It's the narrator who makes it hard to listen too. She is too slow and sounds about 40 years older than the character. I swear you can hear her dentures slip as she reads. Too bad, because the story is really fun.
