"Very entertaining"
Loved the self-deprecating humor included in the trials and tribulations of the journey. I also enjoyed the history of the AT included in the story. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job and made me laugh out loud with some of this characterizations. Very nicely done!
"Loved it!"
I totally enjoyed the writing style which flipped back and forth from the past to present day. The author created a great deal of suspense - we know something bad happened to the heroine but never learned details until much later into the story. The british accents of the narrators were most delightful and I don't think I would have enjoyed the story as much had I simply read it.
"Why change narrators now?"
After listening to the first 10 books in this series, I was greatly disappointed to have a new narrator. I had become accustomed to the various voices Carolyn McCormick used with the different characters and with January LaVoy that was all lost. I don't know if I will continue the series on audio if Carolyn McCormick does not come back.
