A story with a twist. In other words, I was truly surprised by the ending, I did not see it coming.
My favorite character would have to by Tucker Longstreet. As a Southerner, from a small town, he had a very lay back way of looking at world. He took time to smell the roses. He did not feel that he had to over work himself to get his job or responsibilities done. And, he sure did like the ladies.
All of them. Mr. Stechschulte did a very good job between the male and female characters.
Yes it was. I wanted to know "who done it".
I highly recommend this book. It is a great combination of romance, comedy and murder mystery.
This book is a great book to listen to. The narrator did a great job with this characters. I enjoyed listing to it, it was never boring. Mr. Andrews did a fantastic job capturing the personalities of each of the main characters. This is a great story of a family business and family and brotherly love. Also, it is about friendships, relationships and trust. I found it very entertaining, funny and suspenseful. I know I will listen to it over and over again.
I really enjoyed this book. A great Nora Roberts story. Fun to listen to. The characters are interesting, funny and engaging. It has just the right amount of reality and ghost story, which, for me, is fun and intriguing. The narrator did a great job in playing all these different characters and capturing their personalities.
I starting listening and I was intrigued from the beginning. If you like supernatural/fantisy genre, you will like this book. What I like the most was the historial background of the deep south. It is a great story of young love and trust between two teenagers. The charature Ethan, is a great example of a person doing the right thing and not the popular one. And, Lena, is a great example of standing up for herself. I loved most of the charatures in this book, they were very intriging.
The narrater, Kevin T. Collins, did a great job in distinguesing the different charatures from one another. I really enjoyed this audio and I invision it as a movie before I knew it was going to be one. Now I what to see the movie.
I don't know? But I now want to by the printed version. I usually read the book first.
I can only compare the love story to Twilight, but the rest of the context is unique to me and much more gear to an adult audience. I like the historical and scientific references.
I loved the way she change her voice to match the character. She made "Mathew" sound so romantic with that English accent. I could easily distinguish between the characters by the way she change her voice, accent and diction.
When Mathew declared his love for Diana and that was it. They were married and committed to each other without a formal matrimonial ceremony. Totally romantic. (Especially in this day in age were people cannot seam to stay committed.) Fantasy, I know, but that is what books are for.
