I have read some of the other reviewers and I concur with them totally. J.D. Robb (Nora Roberst) has a fantastic imagination and makes it all work. And Susan Ericksen does another outstanding job.
This has to be one of the first books in the series because you learn about Rain's relationship with his son's mother. I did feel that there was entirely to much philosophy and not enough action. I am glad I didn't start with this book or I would have missed out on a lot of really good books later on.
This is one of the first in the series and I liked it much better than the later ones. This one was much more up beat and you didn't feel like he had to drag himself where ever he needed to go.
I enjoyed listening to this book, I thought the casual sex was a little much but it seemed to work in this story. I was completely surprised by the ending. Fun to listen to and I would recommend it.
I love, love, love these books and I will try to never miss one.
I enjoyed listening to this book but I missed Jim Chopin. Kate can surely get herself into some tight spots, thank goodness for Mutt. What you learn about Alaska is amazing and the description of the country side is wonderful
Short but Good
Watching the character turn into his demon self
She is so good what else can I say
I loved the interaction between Dallas and Peabody over this problem
Well worth the money I paid for this book.
I love the different voices Susan has for the characters so when I read them those voices are in my head which makes for a great read.
J.D. Keeps her stories new and different, any way I think so, even though she has written over 40 books with these characters. I love the interaction of the characters, their ups and downs and the way they play off of each other.
Yes, many and not just the in Death series. WOW she is fantastic.
Who are the celebrities ?
Rebecca Lowman is great but your own imagination can be just as good. It is not that one is better than the other rather what you can do while listening as apposed to what you can't do while reading.
I really enjoyed hearing how they fought the fires and wish I could be in that good of shape. It was thrilling to learn how they could save themselves when the fire turned on them.
At first all I could hear was the "in death" characters in her voice but after a while all I could hear was the "Chasing Fire" characters. She is really good.
Now see them in action
It ranks right up there with the best
The history that comes with it and the enterplay between the characters.
I am afraid I am not very good at remembering who the performers are. I did enjoy his performance!
History comes alive
Always on Edge
The other books in this series and the books by Dana Stabenow for all of the information you learn while reading a really good story.
Yes, very much
No, they were all good
I love this whole series, you learn so much about what is going on in the world today and in the past.
