The story and narration are award worthy. The only problem is that Mr. Correia writes serial novels, and the wait to learn what happens next is difficult. I read his books, then listen to the audible version than repeat the first in the series. Even after that, we don't have an expected release for the next installment in the Grimnoir story (Warbound).

If you like well performed stories with engaging characters, Mr. Correia is your author.

Mr. Suarez once again weaves technological advances into this thriller, but keeps things much more grounded in today's technical advances and challenges. This story features two main characters who could represent the first in a very successful series. If you like Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy, Brad Taylor, the characters and action should be to your liking. This is the first narration I have heard by Mr. Gurner, he strives (and mostly succeeds) in bringing nuance to each character he narrates. On occasion, it seemed he did not quite bring the same accent to a known character. Overall, I found him to be engaging as a narrator. If you are a fan of Suarez, this book will surely please, if you have tried his previous work and did not find it to your liking, I encourage you to give Kill Decision a try - I expect you will be pleasantly surprised

Oliver Wyman does such excellent work bringing the story to life, that I always enjoy the audible version after reading the book. I don't read Mr. Correia for self improvement but for pure enjoyment and he has never failed to deliver. You really should read the first three before reading Legion to get the most from the story. Characters are developed, some answers are revealed and many more questions are raised, leaving the listener/reader anxious for the next performance/story.
You can count on Monster Hunter or the Grimnoir story for hours of entertainment. Again, Mr. Correia just leaves one anxious for the next installment.

Mr. Hearne has managed to combine humor, history, magic, and characters to care about in the Druid Chronicles. His books aim to entertain and he hits the mark. Each new entry is welcomed like a visit from an old friend. Mr. Daniels as narrator portrays the characters in just the right way, such that you could not imagine another voice telling the story. The Druid chronicles are not going to bring us world peace or end hunger, but they do guarantee a few hours of companionable entertainment, and that is definitely worth the investment.

Seems like a long wait since American Assassin, but worth it. This installment continues to give us the background story of Mitch Rapp's early days with Stansfield, Kennedy, Hurly, and in this novel much more on the character of Victor who first appeared in American Assassin. The story works as a stand alone, but when taken within the context of the entire Mitch Rapp series, provides more detail on the characters we have grown accustomed to. Mr. Flynn maintains his great story telling and is complimented by the competent narration of George Guidall. Recommended both for new readers and devoted followers of Vince Flynn's work.

Bronson Pinchot brings Mr. Corriea's slightly alternate depression area world to life, with a vibrancy seldom experienced in a story of this type. If you have enjoyed MHN but hesitated to try this genre, it is your lost. The action is engaging, the characters not only entertain, but are developed to the point that you can care about them and understand their motives. This is obviously the beginning of a great series, I have already read the second installment Spellbound, and hope that it finds it way to audible soon.

I tend to stay with my "tried and true" authors, but took a chance on this book and was truly amazed. Mr. Peterson has a formula that could easily bring him into the Lee Child, John Sandford, Jeffrey Deaver class of author. Highly entertaining and worth more than one listen, lets hope Mr. Peterson stays with this winning formula.
