The only reason I could not give this book 5 stars was because there was no resolution to the story. I hate being sucked in and wanting more and find out the author is not releasing the sequel for another year. I did however love Showalter's writing and idea for the story and believe it could be a great series once finished.

For someone who loves romance and girly things I took a chance on this from a review made by Stephenie Meyer. I am so happy I did. This was absolutely brilliant. Collins discreptions help you imagine you are right there in the story. The story itself is so unique and fast paced you finish wondering how you got through it so fast. I even started giving this book out for gifts and talked my husband into listening. It is such a great story and I cannot wait to finish the series.

I read that Stephen King said there were too many good books out there to read the same book twice. But, he would read this again.

For an author and quite a well known author of good story telling he has absolutely no taste.

This book was too long and drawn out for the bitter end. I'd listen for an hour and have to stop for a couple days to keep from the boredom this book brought into my life.

Don't waste your time.

I listened to the first book in the series and thought "It's no Vampire Academy or Twilight" but it's worth a listen.

I made it onto the second book and was totally frustrated with the way it ended and knew I had to read the third to see any resolution.

Now however, I wish I had never read or listened to any of them. Such a waste of time.

It's like Noel is prolonging our agoney for more book sales by adding new characters and conflicts for the main characters.

Really, do we need new conflict and problems when you have no resolution to the first two books?

The series has reached the point where you will no doubt be irritated and upset by the end of the series. She has only left the possibility of a very terrible ending. You know where everything is summed up in five short minutes after you listened for 50 hours. Just get it over with already and stop wasting our time.

This book is fabulous. I absolutely loved it. I felt like Rose was a complete mixture of Buffy and Bella. I am a mom of a teen. I bought this thinking after the Twilight commotion we could have something else to read together and discuss. We absolutely loved this book. We were on vacation when we listened to this and the second book and were very upset we could not down load the third yet. So, we went out and bought the third book while we wait for it to come out on audible.
