In this volume, Elayne, Aviendha, and Mat come ever closer to the bowl ter'angreal that may reverse the world's endless heat wave and restore natural weather. Egwene begins to gather all manner of women who can channel: Sea Folk, Windfinders, Wise Ones, and some surprising others. And above all, Rand faces the dread Forsaken Sammael, in the shadows of Shadar Logoth, where the blood-hungry mist, Mashadar, waits for prey.

I agree with the previous reviews that this was a good story linking great ones, but the wonderful narration by Kate Reading and Michael Kramer makes it as riveting as all the others. The narrators provide nuances to the numerous characters that is a wonder to listen to.

No matter what spiritual path you're on, your ultimate fulfillment comes down to how you answer one question: Can you let go of the need to control your life, and trust in the wisdom of a higher force guiding all that has happened, and ever will? When you do, explain Nouk Sanchez and Tomas Vieira, you will discover "the miracle of trust".

The authors are not professional book readers, but they are certainly devoted A Course In Miracles students. They describe the process of letting go of the ego in very clear, concise language. I found myself often moved, particularly by the story of what must have been an excruciating forgiveness lesson surrounding their daughter's illness.

I highly recommend this to beginning students of ACIM, particular those that may have trouble understanding the poetic verse that was channeled from Jesus to the Shakespearean oriented psychologist Helen Schucman.
