The best book I have ever read or listened to on this subject, or actually any non fiction subject. The writing is exceptional and the narration flawless. If you have any concerns or interest in your health this book is a must!

The print version was unabridged, and from that standpoint, it was better, but this version was excellent.

Lou Gehrig in the prime of his athletic career,was struck by, in my estimation, the worst blow that one can be hit by, an incurable, quickly progressive,totally life alterating disease. In spite of this he continues his life in a different direction. All his life, Lou Gehrig carried himself with grace and class.

I have read and listened to this book. This a powerful account of the effect Nature can have on people. This was a period in history that few ecologists talk about. But, it did occur, little precipitation and unusually high temperatures. It had little to do with pollution and a lot to do with the way Nature works. It is a book that should be mandatory in school reading lists.

I was looking forward to Ann Patchett's new book and am glad to say I was not let down. I have found all of Ms. Patchett's books to be extraordinary. In the case of "State of Wonder" she again provides an excellent plot, excellent writing and excellent narration. The only flaw I could ferret out were references to "Inorganic Chemistry" and " small molecule" research. That truly is insignificant and not worth mentioning. The rest Is excellent and definitely worth the time and cost.

Ms. Campbell's account of the struggle of not only her daughter afflicted with bipolar syndrome, but herself as caregiver, is powerful, accurate and well written. I was deeply moved by Ms. Campbell's frustration and valiant effort to get help for her daughter.Anyone who has experienced a condition such as her daughter or acted as caregiver for a person with a serious medical condition will see themselves in this excellent book.

As a long time fan of Ms. Gardner, I was not suprised by what a great book "Love You More" turned out to be.. Good, narration, interesting characters, lots of twists and turns in the story, no sloppy, unbelievable love scenes and absolutely no personal political views woven into the plot. I enjoyed the whole book.

It seems that many of the works of fiction I have read or listened to the past year or two have very political themes. When I read a work of fiction I expect to enjoy myself, I read non fiction for current issues or historical events and I expect to be presented with controversy.I do not read science fiction at all. This book is science fiction. This book is a hodge-podge of every social controversy going accompanied by low quality music and a truly ridiculous ending. This is my last Picoult book.

Again, a most entertaining book by Lee Child with great narration by Dick Hill. The story line is put together well, the ending a HUGE suprise.

An engrossing tale of India,well written, well narrated. Gregory Roberts first novel, which is based on his own life and experiences, gives the listener a different view of India, its slums and its underworld. Check out Mr. Roberts bio., it is a real shocker! I highly recommend this book.
