I had to read this book for a U.S. History course in college. I got through a good portion of the book by reading - but decided to buy the audiobook as listening is much more convienent. After 5 minutes of listening I had to turn it off. The narrator is so unlively and boring that it made the book unbearable. Take caution and listen to the sample before buying.
I still give it two stars, because the story is excellent for those who are history junkies :]
I absolutely loved this adaptation of Jane Austen's original Pride and Prejudice. Seth Grahame-Smith incorporated the same overall storyline, along with most of the original writings - however, placed a slight twist on it with the zombies and violence. The narrator did a great job - and I could not help but laugh at the way she speaks as Charlotte (anyone who listens will understand what I mean as it is quite entertaining:) I suggest this audiobook for any Austen fans - as it is such a fun and comical way of interpreting a classic romance. :]
