I would try another from the narrator. NOT the author.

There is no resolution to the stories! They expect you to buy ANOTHER book and sit through ANOTHER 12 hours to find out who the villain is. The problem is after the first 12, you just don't care!

I've never listened to any of his other narrations, but I certainly look forward to it!

I felt cheated. I wasted my money and my time on a story about a girl in a coma that almost put me in a coma of my own!

It's a VAMPIRE book and the vampire is not even one of two main charaters!

The premise of the series is supposed to be a vampire finding his one true mate. Except that's NOT what happens. It felt like a waste of time and money when you expect to get a vampire romance, and then don't get that!

I liked her performance fine.

If I could play editor, this book wouldn't have gone in this direction at all, or would have been returned to be rewritten.

If you name a book A Girl's Guide to Vampires, I expect one of the two main characters to BE a vampire.

I LOVED this book! The world building, well-developed characters, action, and tender moments kept me eager for more. This book grabbed me, made me care about the characters, and just wouldn't let me go. I didn't really want the book to end. I would check to see how much time I had left, and was sad when it started running out. It was THE BEST journey a book has taken me on in at least a year, and I was so happy I got it.


This is definitely worth your money, credits, and time. Take a chance on it! I'm so very glad I did!

I LOVED this book! Why? The hilarious coments made by the main character along with an absolutely wonderful narrator!
Here's just one of the sarcastic remarks stated :
“I’d rather lie under an elephant suffering from diarrhea with my mouth open wide.”

I mean, seriously, with the funny comments expertly delivered by one of the best narrators I've ever listened to, it was one of those books you're hoping lasts and lasts because you enjoy it so much.

I will warn that there are some explicit sex scenes that I fast-forwarded through and thought weren't necessary to the storyline. That's the only reason I gave this 4 stars on story instead of 5. It just got a little too much, too often, and seemed to take away from the rest of the story.

I will definitely be looking for more from both this author and the narrator!
