When six-year-old Sam Kettering is kidnapped and then manages to save himself, Savich and Sherlock join his father - former FBI agent Miles Kettering - to determine why Sam would be abducted and brought to eastern Tennessee. Though the local sheriff, Katie Benedict, catches up with Sam before the kidnappers do, the case isn't over - not by a long shot.

Instead of saying "I do" to Mr. Irresistible, Lucy Jorik hitches a ride on the back of a beat-up motorcycle with a rough looking, bad-tempered stranger who couldn't be more foreign to her privileged existence. While the world searches for her, Lucy must search for herself, and she quickly realizes that her customary good manners are no defense against a man who's raised rudeness to an art form. Lucy needs to toughen up - and fast. Her great escape takes her to his rambling beach house on a Great Lakes island. Here, she hopes to find a new direction...and to unlock the secrets of this man who knows so much about her.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Would you listen to 11-22-63 again? Why?

I would listen to it again and again. The narrator was so great and the book was even better

What did you like best about this story?

The total possibilty of what if this could really happen, would the world change in that way.

Which character – as performed by Craig Wasson – was your favorite?

    Jake

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me wonder what if and how sad that the future fights back

    Any additional comments?

What a wonderful book to read and listen to. I have done both, but the listening was wonderful because the characters came to life. Horray for Steven King and Craig Wasson.
