Her dad is one of my favorite authors. But unfortunately she is no her dad.
I tried 3 times to get into her book, but I just couldn't make.it. I put it down for the last time. Sorry. Taylor Sandvigen

The story was good the reader was terrible.

I thought the story followed the sequence of the series and kept my interest throughout the book

When he was just reading he did ok,but when he tried to do the various charadters he was terrible to listen to.

I'm not going to make a film of this book so I never consided a tag line (what ever that is)

I thimnk that this was a really great book. I am familiar with that part of New Mexico and the book brought back all kinds of good memories following the caracters from place to place
and town to town. The author really knows his people. horses, and cows and although this
is the first book I have read by Mcgarrity, I am now a fan..Also., I think ther reader is
one of the very best

His stories are all about Hollywood and vicinity and they are real.. You can go there and see the people he is writing about.. Since the LA Police have changed since the riots and
Rodney King, so have his characters. I have been reading his books since theri beginning
and I continue to await his next book.

Sorry, but I just couldn't get past the reader. I'm no prude, but the sex and stupid dialog and the infantile reading was just too much. The story had potential, and the location was just fine,but that was where it ended. Sorry I wasted a credit on this one. T. Sandvigen

I have tried 3 times to get into this book. As a rule I have liked most of King's books, but this one may have to go by the board. Sorry. but this one may not get read any farther than the first few pages. T.S.

The book has an interesting plot with lots of unexpected twists. There are just too many words. It's a long book and could be shorened by eliminating some of the long and sometimes tedious explanations Otherwise. a pretty good book.

The reader was too expressive, and I thought the
book was far too long for the story. Just too many words. The story was not bad but all of the thougts and tears included cobbled it up far too much.

After Cornwel's last book I swore I wouldn't read another. Well, I suckered in again seeing as that the book was on the best sellers list. I am having a tough time getting into it, and I;m really not enjoying it. I will probably finish it, but this one will really be my last. PS the reader doesn't help the book either.

I thought the book was very good,but I felt that the reader was hard to follow. In order to sound like he was from New Orelans he sounded like he was drunk. Either get another reader or have him just read the book.
