loved book 1 and even pre ordered book 2 but was a bit disappointed, was glad the journey continued but it was a bit repetitive and it has become more of a money making book.
meaning it was just written to have another book not because the the author had so many more thing to tell.
i would second guess buying book 3 after listening to this one.

When Phoebe's mom returns from Greece with a new husband and moves them to an island in the Aegean, Phoebe's plans for her senior year and track season are ancient history. Now she must attend the uberexclusive academy, where admission depends on pedigree, namely, ancestry from Zeus, Hera, and other Greek gods. Thatï¿¿ï¿¿s right, they're real, not myth, and their teen descendants are like the classical heroes - supersmart and superbeautiful with a few superpowers.

"Billy was only thirteen years old the first time he died." And with those words the best-selling saga of Billy Jones begins with Billy: Messenger of Powers. Billy, like many of us, leads what he believes is a fairly normal life: trying to get through school, trying to deal with his first crush, and trying to avoid the bullies who seem intent on trying to prove he can be flushed down a toilet. But all that changes when Billy discovers that Powers walk among us.

Cent has a secret. She lives in isolation, with her parents, hiding from the people who took her father captive and tortured him to gain control over his ability to teleport, and from the government agencies who want to use his talent. Cent has seen the world, but only from the safety of her parents' arms. She's teleported more than anyone on Earth, except for her mother and father, but she's never been able to do it herself. Her life has never been in danger. Until the day when she went snowboarding without permission and triggered an avalanche. When the snow and ice thundered down on her, she suddenly found herself in her own bedroom.

just became a fan of Steven Gould.
I hope there is a second book as the ending was abrupt its still a good ending, but got so involved with the characters i want to keep going along with there journey.

Im really starting to like teen romance fantasy books since listening to twilight but the book just felt half done. its like half way through E Norris realised she needs a character with a secret and then there is a guy with friend all from another world.
Books not bad and i reckon if you you dont have something else in your wish list give it a go but the Norris could of taken us on an amazing journey which she didnt.
