What a great read! After purchasing the audio book, I decided to also order the physical book from Amazon. I would recommend either (or both). The performance, by the author himself, is smooth and pleasant to listen to. You get more of a sense of his personality from listening to him. I wanted the physical book to be able to highlight and make reference to some of the excellent examples and information he gives in the early chapters.

Deconverted is an excellent blend of reason, historical and scientific facts, information, humor, and personal recollections. Great book for anyone, but especially "new" atheists, agnostics, humanists, and free thinkers. I especially love that Seth Andrews is such a positive, fair, and open-minded atheist spokesperson. Thank you, Seth, for being a voice for so many of us.

I simply adored this novel! The narration is excellent and pleasant to listen to. The story itself is engaging and beautiful. It deals with the secrets we keep and how they permeate our lives and the lives of those around us, whether we realize it or not. This book kept me hanging on the entire time. It is quite long, but I was never bored at all and had trouble putting it down to get my work done. I wanted to know what was happening now, what happened in the past, and what secrets were shaping these relate-able characters. Of the Kate Morton books I've read, this is by FAR my favorite!

After reading the other two books in this trilogy, I waited rather impatiently for this final book to come out. The narration of this series is EXCELLENT. She does an amazing job of giving a unique voice to each of the important characters. The story is gripping, and will leave you wanting more every time you have to turn it off for a bit and get on with life. I found myself daydreaming about the characters and trying to imagine what would happen next.

The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is the ending. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone, but it left me wanting and a bit frustrated.. I realize this was done for a reason (as explained on the author's Facebook page), but it just didn't sit well with me. I will say, however, that this is a somewhat minor issue since the overall story, character development, and dystopian imagery is engaging and well-written.

It looks as if they are planning to make a television show from this series. Not sure how I feel about that, but you never know!

Though this novel falls under the YA genre, and I am slightly past my "young adult" years, this book really spoke to me. It was the first I had read by John Green, and immediately after finishing The Fault In Our Stars, I tracked down every other book by the author I could get my hands on. All are good, but this is the best!

The characters, especially Hazel and Augustus, stick with you long after the story ends. Various quotes bounced around in my head for weeks. But best of all, this book made me FEEL. Really feel things that I haven't for years. Feelings that precious few other novels, plays, or films have been able to evoke.

I laughed out loud, I cried (quite a bit), I held my breath, I mused... And I've re-read it over again.
