This is a terrific story that is an excellent listen. I am pretty picky about my audio books but just loved this one. Naration is very good and the story if fast paced with lots of action. I highly recommend this audio book.

This is just not a very engaging story line. I don't get why Neil Gaiman, who i really like, is so enamored with this story. It just isn't that interesting. Got about halfway through and stopped listening to it as it started to become a chore.

Not very original, not the greatest writing, but a good narrator. The author does what so many romance authors do and make the two main characters fall in love right away without the reader getting a sense of the characters and why they would fall for each other. The author races right to the physical relationship and sacrafices character development. I won't read any other books in this series and don't recommend it.

I was thouroughly impressed with this audio book. The writing is great and the author has the characters reacting to situations in believable ways. The story is interesting, if a bit predictable. However, I found I couldn't stop listening. The narrator is just perfect. I highly recommend giving it a listen.

I agree with many of the other reviews that the story is pretty good. But narrator is pretty much the worst possible voice for this story. Her voice is too old sounding, and it sounds like she's got smokers-voice. There's nothing sexy about her at all and the voice of the narrator killed my ability to believe the attraction between the main character and her love interest. I won't listen to any more books in the series if they have this same narrator.

This book was just great. Great story, great characters, great narration. Another reviewer compared it to the Dresden files, which is a good comparison. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book is just like many bad fantasy books with a predictable plot and flat characters. If want to start a series where each book follows essentially the same love/sex story plotline with different characters, this is for you. There are so many good fantasy books out there, but this one was just dumb.
