"David Tennant is my Doctor"
This audiobook is amazing. I love the show and am now falling in love with the books. This is the first book I have read or heard, I guess. I really like that David Tennant, or the Tenth Doctor, read this one. He brings such great inflection to the different characters. I really injoy the fact that when he reads the Doctor he uses his "Doctor Voice" as I call it and when he narrates he slips back to his Scottish roots. I recommend this to any and all Doctor Who Fans its Brilliant!!!
"More than the movie could hold"
Simon Vance reads this book beautifully, he brings Dumas's work to life in a why that allows the listener to travel back in time. Although my first encounter of this tale, although abrevated was on screen with the likes of Oliver Platt, Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Chris O'donnell and Tim Curry, there is nothing that can compare with the shear volume of story that is contained in this book. The ending was not what I would have asked for but it is as it should be. Dumas is an author who has endured for centuries and is worth reading or in this case listening to. Also I highly recommend Simon Vance as a narrator, he had done a lot of book in a variety of genres.
"Book of the Year"
This book is amaazingly writen and wonderfully read. I finished it and wanted to listen to it again. If you enjoy vampire book or movies at all this is a must read. Elizabeth Kostova wove this story into an epic adventure that keeps you guessing and hoping.
"They have done it again!!!"
This is a fantastic book, wonderfully read by the Doctor Himself, David Tennant. This book has it all, the past the present and the future like only Doctor who can. This is the cream of the crop. Not to be missed
"A journey to a bad ending"
This is a great book, with wonderful charaters but the ending was not what it could be, a bit of a let down. The narrator was great.
