Brandon's story is so heartfelt that I had a hard time putting this one down. I really felt all the emotions that he went through with "Starting Over". I also enjoyed that this story included all the O'Malley clan and their lives.

Narration was great as always. Sorry to see the series end, but I will look for more books from this author.

Clare Harrington is considered a miracle, but everything that's happened since she recovered from a three-year coma has been something less than miraculous. Her 18-year-old daughter, Kate, a talented singer and songwriter, sets out to pursue her musical dreams in Nashville. Her parents have agreed to allow Kate to spend a year there, but they couldn't have anticipated Kate falling in love with a much older man. Her newly divorced parents are forced back together to confront their wayward daughter.

This is the second book in this series and while I thought the book should have been mostly about Claire, a good portion of the book is centered around her daughter Kate. I had a really hard time with Kate's story in this book, older man-young girl....

Narration was great again, and I loved Aidan and Claire's story. The series has been a good series overall, so far.

Carina Conte has had a crush on her brother Michael’s best friend, Max Gray, since she was a teenager back home in Italy. Now she’s earned her MBA and come to work at Michael’s new venture, America’s fastest-growing bakery empire. But some things never change: Her overprotective family still treats her like a child. With three drop-dead gorgeous siblings, she’s still the ugly duckling of the bunch. And Max, the company’s new CEO, still barely notices her. Max knows Carina Conte is strictly off-limits, for the sake of his job and his friendship with Michael.

This is the 3rd book in the series and I must say I enjoyed it the most. While all the stories are a little predictable the characters are well developed and I felt like I knew these characters from the other 2 books, so hearing their story was a joy.

Narration is good. It is easy to tell the characters apart and I enjoyed the listen.

Love is the last thing on Jack Harrington's mind when he sets out to meet Andi Walsh's flight. Recently back to work after spending more than a year tending to his comatose wife, Jack is focused on getting through each day and caring for his three daughters. However, the moment he sets eyes on Andrea Walsh, the interior designer who has come to decorate the hotel his company is building in Newport, Rhode Island, Jack begins to wonder if Andi might be his second chance.

The storyline in the book is a little predictable but overall it was a good book. The character development is very good in the story. It is a little easy to get lost as the narrator has voice changes, but not significant, between the male and female characters. Maybe if the author had used strictly male names for males and female names for female. I got a little thrown off with Jamie (male) and Andi (female) when the two were in the storyline together. All in all a good book, narration was good except for the aforementioned issue.

Toni Peters rarely takes chances or tries new things, always sticking close to home and going along with the tried and the true—until her old schoolfriend, Jane Doyle, working at a hotel in Paris, France, calls and suggests they take a month-long tour of Europe, the vacation of shopping, sightseeing, and sunbathing they’ve always talked about but never got around to taking. When Toni arrives in Paris, however, she discovers Jane has quit her job and moved south to another hotel in Marseille.

    Story

While the storyline is pretty good in this novel, it is hard to follow the characters due to the narration. The narrator has very little distinction between the voices of her characters, making it hard to determine which character is speaking. It is often times confusing as to what is going on in the story because you don't know which character is speaking. Additionally, some of the characters are British and the accent does not change into a British accent for those characters. I believe I would have enjoyed this book more if I had just read it.

The answers Bailey Flanigan once longed and prayed for are finally becoming clear. In Loving, the fourth and final book in the Bailey Flanigan series by New York Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury, Bailey is planning a wedding and making decisions that will shape her future. Will she spend her life with Brandon Paul in Los Angeles, or will her heart draw her back to Bloomington, Indiana, and Cody Coleman, her first love?

The last book in the Bailey Flanigan series is a disappointment for me. Kingsbury spent a lot of time building up the relationship between Cody and Bailey only to let it die in the end. If she was going to finish the book the way that she did, then I don't fee that she should have let the listener have so many feelings about Cody and Bailey being together. I am not sure if I am going to listen to any more books by Kingsbury for awhile. I have listened to or read all of her books until this point, however, I think this series has spoiled that for me for awhile. While I think she is an amazing author, she did not do this seried justice and left many of her fans disappointed with this latest installment of the Bailey Flanigan series.

The narrators in the book were great and portrayed a miriad of emotions, it was just the story that was disappointing.

Longing, book three in the Bailey Flanigan Series, picks up where Learning ended. After a long and lonely silence from Cody Coleman, Bailey Flanigan becomes closer to her one-time Hollywood co-star, Brandon Paul. Nights on the town in New York City and long talks on the balcony of Brandon's Malibu Beach home make Bailey dizzy with new feelings and cause her to wonder if her days with Cody are over forever.
