Magical, I was transported into a stunning world that I had to return from after only 3 hrs. After that I was forced to leave.. reality broke in, i looked at the dishes piling up and groaned wishing for a hoard of trollocs to comin in......
Good survivalist book. The author puts you in the backseat on a survivalist fantasy. Very well played out. Didn't care for his use of the name of our Lord as an explicative. That being said the story is very good.
I liked the book but their was no big revelations here. Maybe a better book for someone not familiar with Einsteins history. Recommend.
A wonderful true story of a man who took life at its worst and always wound up on top of things. Well voiced by Mr. Herrmann. I looked on the internet and found out he just died in July 2014, They made a movie out of this book but I'm told they left the redemption part out of things so i'll wait to watch it on netflix. Highly recommended. Right now they are selling this book for under 4 dollars... unbelievable.
It took me awhile to get into the book but it was worth the journey. I didn't care for some of the language. Donna Postel was a great reader and the book is good. The insight into the war in Afganistan was very interesting. And it sounded crazy that they are sending 50 year olds to war. When I was in the marines 30 years ago, The top age was 28.
Love the book. RC Sproul is a very clear thinker, you couldn't ask for a better reader or in this case speaker. The only disagreement I have with him is his view on the rapture. He doesn't believe in it. Highly recommended.
An entertaining one time read. Even though this book draws on an atheistic world view that i find completely absurd it does bring forward many curious facts that holds ones attention. Well written.
I really liked this book. I liked the action, the tech was really cool, the narration was perfect, the characters were not cardboard cut outs. Didn't like the ending or the Use of the name of Jesus.
A smooth, well thought out overview of the cults, perfectly voiced by Mr. England. The problem is there is so much info you're never going to get it all in in one, two or even three readings. And seeing that this book is almost 39 hours long I'm praying to Jesus to make stick what he wants me to retain because I don't care how interesting this book is I don't want to spend that much time in a reread. I recommend. The book delivers what it promises. God Bless.
I really don't expect much from novilizations. The idea of writing a book out of something that already has been written... I don't know... it just seems like a bad idea. That being said, the book is really good. Somewhat predictable but really good. The narrator was right on the mark. Worth a read.
Very interesting material. You really have to listen to Mr Lewis, unlike other author's, or you will find yourself wondering what he is talking about. Recommend even though some of the material in this collection I've already purchased in shorter collections. The only real problem I had with this book is that I had to listen to it on my computer because Mr. Cosham's voice is so low I had a hard time hearing him on my kindle fire.
