First 2 hours is biography. The rest was gravy. If you know the truth you will see it refected here to near perfection. Milton puts you in Satan' s Shoes, Adams shoes etc.
I think i would have prefered the book without chuck colson's narration. The material was very interesting to me a born again believer but for someone who doesn't believe i wouldn't recommend this book.
This was my first BV Larson book. I hope all his others are as good. The story drew me in even though i don't think i would like living in the world Larson created myself he drew some very memorable characters. Like a few good books I feel like i'm leaving a bunch of friends behind when I finally finished reading the last page and have to turn to something else. Something I haven'v felt since reading Jordan's wheel of time series. Highly recommended.
Great writing, dark material. One story about a man who wakes up early in a crio chamber then proceeds to eat the rest of his crewmates to survive was almost too much to get through. The writing puts you right into the stories. So beware, you might be getting more than you bargained for.
I loved this book when i was young..... still fun to listen to. I wish Mr. Lewis could have written longer versions.
As good as the slighly longer version. I like the narrator. As a non scientist the book still reads well. Worth reading.
Riding a motorcycle and laying out tips on mechanics and pouring out philosophy. A strange combination, very well combined. Worth the read.
I love this story, and Tim Curry does a top knotch job in bringing it to life. Its a story about one man and his journey into the unknown which wakes him up to what life is really about.
Good book and maybe if i understood it better I would rate it higher. At the time of this review i've read it 3 times. Interesting, not overly long and well read. I recommend it for those who are curious.
Started out really great with a blow by blow discription on what passed in the planes as they were hijaked. Then went on to names and places I will never remember. Procedures followed then changes recommended. Not my cup of tea but i made it through to the end. One point made repeatedly in this report that stuck out. We won't be able to stop all attacks.
Well voiced, well written, very interesing true story. I think I would have liked Nash better sick than well. His treatment of his son and son's mother didn't set well with me. But the story is very captivating and i'm happy he made it though his sickness. I recommend.
