Great writing, dark material. One story about a man who wakes up early in a crio chamber then proceeds to eat the rest of his crewmates to survive was almost too much to get through. The writing puts you right into the stories. So beware, you might be getting more than you bargained for.

Stephen Hawking's worldwide best seller, A Brief History of Time, has been a landmark volume in scientific writing. Its author's engaging voice is one reason, and the compelling subjects he addresses is another: the nature of space and time, the role of God in creation, the history and future of the universe.

This thought-provoking journal of a man's quest for truth - and for himself - has touched and changed an entire generation, and is ready to reach out to a new one. At its heart, the story is all too simple: a man and his son take a motorcycle trip across America. But this is not a simple trip at all, for around every corner, their pilgrimage leads them to new vistas of self-discovery and renewal.

This landmark book is for those of us who prefer words to equations; this is the story of the ultimate quest for knowledge, the ongoing search for the secrets at the heart of time and space. Its author, Stephen W. Hawking, is arguably the greatest mind since Einstein. From the vantage point of the wheelchair, where he has spent the last 20 years trapped by Lou Gehrig's disease, Professor Hawking has transformed our view of the universe. A Brief History of Time is Hawking's classic introduction to today's most important scientific ideas.

The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, also known as the 9-11 Commission, was created by congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in late 2002. This independent, bipartisan commission had the task of producing a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the attack, including preparedness and immediate response, and providing recommendations designed to guard against future attacks.

Procedures followed then changes recommended. Not my cup of tea but i made it through to the end. One point made repeatedly in this report that stuck out. We won't be able to stop all attacks.

Listen to the New Testament (New King James Version) read in its entirety by music legend Johnny Cash. After 20 years of encouragement from his mother to record the Bible, he approached the recording of the New Testament with "fear, respect, awe, and reverence for the subject matter". Cash added, "I also did it with a great deal of joy, because I love the Word." Johnny Cash Reading the Complete New Testament is 19 hours of the Word of God from one of the most distinctive voices of our time.
