Since 1990, when Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time burst on the world with its first book, The Eye of the World, fans have been anticipating the finale of this extraordinary saga, which has sold over 40 million copies in over 30 languages. The wait will soon be over. The 14th and final volume, A Memory of Light, will be available in hardcover and audiobook on January 8, 2013. However, you can read the prologue, “By Grace and Banners Fallen”, before the book’s official release date.

If you could sum up By Grace and Banners Fallen: Prologue to A Memory of Light in three words, what would they be?

    Must. Have. More.

What was one of the most memorable moments of By Grace and Banners Fallen: Prologue to A Memory of Light?

When The Band of the Red Hand figured out how to actually use the Dragons properly.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The battle in Caemlyn. Trollocs vs both The Band and the Queen's Guard.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    The Dark One is Stirring.

    Any additional comments?

I thuroughly enjoyed listening to this prologue, but it was also such a terrible tease. I didn't want it to end, but I could see the seek bar getting closer to the end by the minute.
