Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

If you could sum up The Fault in Our Stars in three words, what would they be?

    Live your fullest !

What other book might you compare The Fault in Our Stars to and why?

Catcher in the Rye because there is this attitude of " life is bull shit". And also because it
is a coming-of-age story (of sorts).

    Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene where our main characters meet the author of "Imperial Affliction". It's very funny and a little bit sad.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cry. It's been a while since I have done both with such intensity.

    Any additional comments?

English is not my first language, but since this book (and audiobook) is intended for teens and young adults, it's fairly easy to follow, I would recommend this to people trying out
    audio books in English.

What were the forces that thrust the British Empire to its extraordinary position of greatness and then just as powerfully drove it into decline? And why is nearly every nation on earth, in one way or another, the consequence of the British Empire? In these 36 lectures, Professor Allitt leads you through four centuries of British power, innovation, influence, and, ultimately, diminishment-four profound centuries that literally remade the world and bequeathed the complex global legacy that continues to shape your everyday life.
