In the third volume of The Dark Tower, Roland, the last gunslinger, is moving ever closer to the Dark Tower that haunts his dreams and nightmares. But he is no longer alone. He has trained Eddie and Susannah, who entered Mid-World from their separate whens in New York City in The Drawing of the Three, in the old ways of the gunslingers. But their ka-tet is not yet complete.

    Overall

The Gunslinger started out with introducing Roland and his travels with a boy named Jake to find the man in black. The Drawing of the Three dealed with the aftermath of the first book and finding Eddie Dean the junkie, and O/Detta Holmes, a social activist black woman who has split personalities.

The third book in Stephen King's "The Waste Lands" is where all of the previous books come together to answer alot of the questions that was wondered and show the inner personals in more detail with the characters. The fun starts here in the series for me with alot of action, suspence, and mystery.
