"Our Father's"
After reading all the publicity regarding this book, I decided to purchase before listening. I am not disappointed! This historic rendering of the events leading up to the planting of the FLAG on Iwo and the controversy surrounding the participants in that event are brought to the fore by the author. Being a former Marine, I was delighted to see the views of others and disappointed in the outcome of several of the lives of those heros of such a tragic battle in our nation's history. I recommend this title to any and all war history buffs and give it two thumbs-up.
"Good L'Amour Stuff"
A L'Amour fan will not be disappointed with this title. The narrator captures the true spirit of the storyline and you will want to keep listening.
"It was free"
This excerpt from the book was disappointing. Dick Cavet as a narrator, in my opinion was a poor choice.
"Boring"
This title is misleading. It is dull and not what I would expect from Penthouse.
"The Cold Moon"
Joe Montenga is a great narrator. His performance of this title lends to the listening pleasure. The story line is date and time coded and this somewhat is annoying however, it does portray the plot and conditions of the search for the villians/killers. The ending is not what one would expect. I won't give it away here, but leave that for the listener. I give this book 4 stars. Highly recommended. I will look for more from this author.
"Disappointed!!"
I am a fan of Margaret Cho for many years. I am truely sorry that I purchased this title. It is not comedy! It is rather Ms. Cho's slant on politics and I am rather neutral when it comes to this type of editorial. I do not recommend this title to anyone looking for Margaret's comedy.
"Do lawyers really know how to speak?"
I give this presentation one star only because a lower indicator is not available. The presentation of the defenders before the US Supreme Court were at best confused and constantly repeated themselves. I was really disappointed in listening to Justice Ginsgerg. She has such a boring voice. I wonder how many members of the audience fell asleep during her oratory?
"Live coverage"
It is terrible to think that the American nation was do dramatically invaded on both of the occasions covered by this program. However, having said that, we as American's must take pause and offer thanks to the powers above that this land is so blessed. We need to reflect on the fathers of the land and pray and hope that their foresight will never die with STUPID amendments to our Constitution.
"HOOHUMMM"
This book title is listed under legal thrillers. In my opinion, it should be listed under comedy/drama. Long story line, too much filler. The aspect of an autistic child being the center of the plot, does cause one to pause and wonder, how much does our government interfear with family values and step it where they don't belong. Good read otherwise.
"NN??NN??N???"
Very dry, classic Reiner comedy. It was not what I expected, however, I was not disappointed with the title.
