In a famous family of exceptionally talented people, fifteen-year-old Claire Walker is ordinary...or so she leads everyone to believe. Yet the minute she steps out of line, her parents transfer her to Cambial Academy: the prestigious boarding school that her great-grandfather founded for students with supernatural abilities, or "specials."

How could the performance have been better?

The adults sounded like idiots, and many of the "high school" students sounded like congested grade schoolers.

An unforgettable new novella from number-one New York Times best-selling author Jamie McGuire. Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret… until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!) - and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

The female narrator is a poor fit for the story. She sounds like a kid, which doesn't fit with a character who is newly married and having hot sex. Ugh! The story is fine & the male voice is great.

It ties right into Divergent and continues on with the story. I'm looking forward to part 3.

Which character – as performed by Emma Galvin – was your favorite?

    Four, without a doubt.

What did you love best about Skin Deep?

Ryan was an unexpected delight, and not at all the usual "hot guy" who appears in so many YA books. He was amazingly human, kind and genuine, and I loved his persistence in getting to know Jenna.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The tears kept running down my face as the author tapped into my own long ago memories of feeling ugly and rejected.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Iron Knight to be better than the print version?

If you're still panting for more Ash & Meagan, you'll be satisfied with how the story progresses. It continues with lots of twists & turns and it's a great adventure overall. I read all 4 books and listened to them as well. Both media go hand in hand in the sense that audio brings the story to life, while print confirms the nuances of whether or not things were actually said, or just thought. I liked the series enough that I listened to it more than once and thoroughly enjoyed it each time.

The idea of time travel sets the scene for this story about a girl who awakens from stasis only to find that the life she knew is more than 60 years in the past. If we could

What made the experience of listening to Farseed the most enjoyable?

This story picks up once Ship arrives at its destination, and humanity with its strengths and weaknesses plays out. It's a new world as promised, but not everything is sunshine & roses as the different personalities struggle to lead the settlers to a successful transition.
