What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I found the language and content so obscene that I did not finish listening to the first chapter to even see if it had a plot. Nothing to listen to on an IHome, If books had ratings, this should be an X

What do you think your next listen will be?

Feast For Crows While Fire and Ice is earthy, the saga is fascinating to read, see, or hear.
The author created a world with credible personalities that brings this beyond a simple fantasy.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    disgust

    Any additional comments?

I would like books to have a rating from audiobooks to indicate if the book is appropriate to be listened to by anyone, of only with earphones and an Ipod.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

    The reader.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The Tommy and Tuppence series is a great read.

Walter Hartright, a drawing teacher to two sisters, wants to marry Laura, though she is betrothed to another. But who is the mysterious woman in white he encounters? Wilkie Collins was a master of suspense, but his transfer to audiobook requires a cast of readers to faithfully reflect the11 different characters who tell the story. Naxos AudioBooks brings together a strong cast to bring alive the mystery and suspense of The Woman in White.

The next day, Jim Hickman, the first baseman for the Cubs, injured his back. The team suddenly needed someone to play first, so they reached down to their AA club in Midland, Texas, and called up a 21-year-old named Joe Castle. He was the hottest player in AA and creating a buzz....

What did you love best about The Girl on Legare Street?

    Relax and enjoy

What did you like best about this story?

Enough of a plot to keep my interest, not so deep that I couldn't follow the book while doing home chores.

What does Aimee Bruneau bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Apples and oranges. She does a good joy of narration without sounding silly. Her voice is clear with the right amount of expression.

    Any additional comments?

My opinions are the same for the three "street" books.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes, it is a fun, well-written sci-fi, that is frequently hilarious.

What about Oliver Wyman’s performance did you like?

He was a wonderful choice for the book. Clear voice and and nuances to characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I don't listen to any book in one sitting. My attention span isn't that long!

    Any additional comments?

I would not recommend listening to this with children in ear-shot. There is not a lot of cursing, but enough that I wouldn't want families or neighbors to over hear.
