Dan has become my favorite, he is now torn between doing what is right and what needs to be done. With the formula of the serum in his head he slowly collects the parts needed to reform the serum. But he is also struggling how to let the family know it needs to used.

When the story ended I actually yelled out "NO" because it ended in a cliff hanger that the others books did not give. This is the first of the series to do that and I LOVE IT!!!! I am ready for the next book in the series.

There is so much going on in the story that it when you listen to the other books in the series it will make you come back and wonder how they came to those conclusions.

Book 8 in the 39 clues series is comparable to this book in the way certain elements interfered with the progress of the cahills. This gives this new series a tie in with the previous series.

He brings emotions to play into the story as its being read. His tone is not that of someone reading lazily. he makes you want to know what is going to happen next and make you re-listen to part to understand other parts that have come up.

It made want to get the next book in the series to see where it would lead the cahill team next.

Great to show kids how teamwork always truimph over individual achievement.

The performance of David Pittu has gotten better as he gone through the series.

Avoid this book at all possible! I wish i didnt even have to give it 1-star. I ordered this book to learn more about the founding fathers except what i got was a tearing down of the founding fathers. The author, clearly borrowing from other authors, could not form a single clear and new thought of his own. Yes, the founding fathers were human after all but to berate them to the point that their accomplishments are so minor to their imperfections. I totally regret this ordering this drivel. If i could get my credit back I would!

Having never read (yet) Mr. McCullough's John Adams, this look at our fight for freedom forces the listener to question why some of the things happened as they did. Mr. McCullough use of the little known officers and soldiers allows us to fill in what has been missing since we learned about the revolution in school. Great listen, will definitely add the John Adams book to my library in the future.
