"Better than the first book!"
There is a creature that lives in a tree that can see a persons future and all their decisions throughout the future. It says things and asks questions to change that persons future to cause devistating consequences.
"You will get lost in this book"
The background and backstory of the characters
Luca brasi, he was stupid and cruel and scared me
Voices help in some of the conversations
"This is not patient zero"
Needs to go back to the drawing board
Just not very fresh, I guess the Origin of the sickness was cool, it never set itself above the rest
"Great modern epic tale"
The trash can man was a piece of odd work
The book is a huge build up to a somewhat quick ending,it probably could have been a series like the dark tower
"Not what I was expecting"
I don't think so, he seems to be a popular horror/sify author but I found the work dry
Disappointment
Slow and easy to drift away from the story, had to relisten 3 times and still didn't care for it
"This book kicks ass"
The pusher, this is the character based on the idea that in new York there is a type of serial killer that pushes people into traffic to kill them
This book totally redeems the gunslinger,I can't wait till the next book!
"Slow but necessary to the overall series"
The pace, the next book in the series was much easier to understand, with gripping characters this one didn't make a whole lot of since to me
I've experienced most of kings works
The gunslinger should have been longer and moved a little slower with time spent on each experience I found it moved to fast and was disorienting .
Get through this book, I've been told it doesn't make since to anyone and is disorienting even on the second time through. It builds the foundation for the series and so this book can't be skipped or ignored.the next book will make you so glad you chose the series
"Slow and disorienting start but finds it pace"
Reader uses voices which helps me with character identification
Little bit of Harry Potter, little bit of interview with a vampire
His on the spot experience with teaching the simpithy class
Some of the side stories and lore are a bit slow but are needed to understand the culture of the people, I think they made me put the book down the most, once you get through them it picks back up
"Great book"
Star wars books aren't the best for relistening
Vistara
Always does his books justice, I'm sure that's why they keep him
When VistaraStar gets caught by Ben writing fake letters to her father
"This series finally came together"
Yes because of all the special effects and voices, it helps keep characters straight
Han, always Han
Voices
I can't say every addition to this series was relivelnt to the overall story, sometimes I feel like all characters do is get positioned and there is very little story but the last two were really great and made me glad I stuck it out
