I really enjoy reading Randy Alcorn's books. I can only say that his descriptions of Heaven and Hell have to be the most thought provoking I've ever read. While I have read some of same scriptures that he gets his details from, I never imagined either the way he writes them. His descriptions makes one yearn for Heaven and make a concerted effort to never end up in Hell. I don't agree with his doctrinal views personally, but still I enjoy his writing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. McCabe was the perfect hero. This book kept me guessing and didn't end until it ended. I think I will miss the characters.
I was not happy with this book. I love Koontz, so I bought it on sale. I couldn't even finish it, even after paying for it!
I loved this series, read all 4 within a week! My only problem with it was that I really enjoyed Therese Plummer's narrations on book 1 and 4; I would have preferred she narrate all the books. She did a fabulous job with the voices, I recognized who was speaking at all times.
I enjoyed this book. The one thing I found good was the explanation for Gage's wealth. Sometimes the hero is rich and there's no explanation of how he became that way. I found him to be a strong hero, but Tess was not as great as a heroine, hence 4 stars.
