"Lump in My Throat"
Another winner, Tess you make me feel like I am standing right next to Jane. The unique way you tie all the information together and how it flows is excellent! OK, I am hooked. I am sitting in my drive at the end of my day again listening to another one of Tess's books. I think it is all over for a character when you bring the subjects right to the edge of the abyss and somehow throw them a rope at the last minute. Excellent! Thank you Tess
"As if I were present"
Personal information about the interaction with kids and Secret Service Agents, especially the day of the President's Funeral about the salute.

My life with JFK's Family
excellent story
"Unbroken by Laura Hillendbrand"
Excellent book but better people than I already said it was.
It is obvious that the author did a great deal of research making the imminence details of the people in the book. Story kept me interested the entire time I was listening to it. At times it made me feel that I was almost right there partaking in events. A great deal of emotion was brought out especially describing the time in prison camps and how it effected the prisoners some for the remainder of their lives regretfully.
My Dad was in the Navy in WWII he made it home but as a broken man and used alcoholic to deal with his demons. Thank you for a surreal look into these young mens lives and the details of terrible effect the War had on them. At age 13 in 1961, I can remember my Dad waking from a sound sleep in the middle of the night, yelling help get those guys out of there. Very sad, I am sure his life would have been much different if he had not his experiences in the War. Even today, I find it difficult to believe people refuse to respect and try to understand how the horrific events that happened to these young men coming from a War Theater of today.
"The Apprentice"
Tess did it again! I was on the edge of my seat almost all the way through the book. I think this is my 5th. book focusing on Rizzoli and Isle series. In a couple of chapters the author had you transplanted to Boston. The detailed description of the interaction of the players in the book is captivating. The best part is it sounds so real, like it happened last week.
"ICE COLD"
Another excellent book! Sat in my car in our diveway listening to and end of a chapter. On the edge of the seat as always, taking turns all of a sudden without prior warning...
Thank you; Tess and thank you audible.
"The High Kind of Montival"
Good follow-up to last book. The end was kind of a rush. it was obvious that we were being set up for the next book. I have listened to the entire series, often keeps you on the edge. I drive for a living I have come home at night and sat in the car in the drive listening to the end of a chapter. A never ending keep your eyes open book for the next critical point... will look for the next book. Hope I do not have to wait so long.
"Boardwalk Empire"
I am an American History sponge, a boomer, and proud American. What is written in this book is not surprising. I grew up in a small town in Illinois and we also had our corruption. The State Trooper taking bribes to not give speeding tickets, the local bookie the county could not seat a jury to try him because everyone knew him, the city council meeting in the mayor's store back room then going to the city hall to vote. In those days as described in this book happened all over America in that time in history and still happens today. Great read, great narrator!
"Dies The Fire"
Excellent! I drive for a living and I error did not down load the 3rd part of the audio book. I had to go home and get it because it had me so rivveted. Dual subject; you just knew the author was going to have the two groups come together. Very easy listen; almost believable. Our world is in a quandary and very fragile. We have world leaders who don't really care about other countries let alone their own people.
"Final Impact"
A great wrap to the trilogy by Birmingham. Great historic reality combined with just enough fantisy to keep you tied into the serious actual events and what could have happened if things were just a little off center.
"Blood And Iron"
Excellent, as I listened to the last bids of information made me feel down. I wanted it to go on and on. I finished it about a week ago and I still can recall chapters of the audio book.
