Martin Wenner did a marvelous job narrating. I believe equal or better than Simon Vance, (whom I heard on "Played with Fire". I also watched the movie and was sorry to see it rushed the ending. After listening to the "unabridged version" of "Played with Fire" I wished I purchased the "unabridged" version of "Dragon Tatto". I would agree with some of the comments that it starts off slow. As far as characters are concerned....there are far fewer in this book than the second book. I read them both in order and watched the movie in between the two.
Well written and a solid fast paced plot. I thought the ending was weaker than the rest of the book but overall excellent. Definately deserved of all the accolades and awards
A very interesting book with a great character portrayal by Scott Brick. It only got more interesting the deeper I went. Who thought an intrigue book about the National Archives could be so much fun!!!
I don't typically read or listen to books of this nature. I was pleasantly surprised that it flowed very well. The book has alot of focus on Budapest and provides the reader with more information on this lightly covered area of the Holocost. It is a an excellent narration by George Guidall
I downloaded the "abridged" version of "Dragon Tattoo". I am happy I spent the time on the "unabridged" version of "Played with Fire". You can really appreciate the details that are missing in the abridged version and the movie is short on the book in general.
