I would compare this book to "Into Thin Air" on steroids.
I was jubilant for even the tiniest victory the crew had.
This book was spectacular. Every moment I kept thinking it couldn't get any worse, and it kept on going. Every trial is more difficult than the last. The things they have to do with the lack of equipment is truly unbelievable. This book is about triumph of the will and Shackleton's will is greater than nearly anyone in history.
Best Production Ever
I have to say, he gives voice to Thrawn, and I think the acting is pitch perfect.
This book has amazing production values. You forget at times you are listening to a novel, and instead find yourself engrossed in the action and dialogue. It reminds me of old time radio programs. Marc Thompson makes you forget he is one person, a truly amazing voice acting performance. I will buy all the books he reads.
